God Will Always Remain Perfect

Romans 3:4 Certainly not! Indeed, let God be true but every man a liar. As it is written: "That You may be justified in Your words, And may overcome when You are judged."

The answer come for the question proposed in the verses before when Paul asks the question Romans 3:3 For what if some did not believe? Will their unbelief make the faithfulness of God without effect

NO WAY! Their unbelief could not stop GOD'S faithfulness. Could not stop GOD'S truth from remaining truthful.

Every man could have been a liar and GOD'S word would still be true.

The statement "let God be true but every man a liar" could say Let God keep on being true even though every man becomes a liar. This quotes part of Psalm 116:11 I said in my alarm, "All men are liars."

Then David wrote in Psalm 51:4 "That You may be justified in Your words, And may overcome when You are judged."

The idea here is that mankind will do wrong and misrepresent GOD. BUT GOD WILL ALWAYS REMAIN PERFECT and HIS words will always be justified. Mankind’s unfaithfulness will not cause GOD'S words to be unfaithful.

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
